Biovet is pleased to announce the appointment of two new directors to its Research & Development (R&D) team.

Biovet is pleased to announce the appointment of two new directors to its Research & Development (R&D) team. After more than 20 years in this department, Mrs. Isabelle Caya, B. Sc., has been promoted to R&D Immunoassay Director. She will also supervise the Quality Control Department. Mr. Christian Savard, Ph.D. is appointed R&D Molecular Biology Director. Christian has been part of the team since the development of this branch of our R&D, almost 4 years ago.

Meanwhile, Dr. André Broes, DVM, Ph.D., who is starting pre-retirement, remains with the Biovet team on a part-time basis. Dr. Broes will continue to provide technical support to customers in the swine and bovine sectors (services and kits). He will also handle the company’s technology watch. “We can always count on him as technical advisor for R&D, regulatory affairs, sales and marketing,” said Biovet President Dr. René Lallier.

We are convinced that their expertise and professionalism will prove to be valuable assets in the new functions of our R&D directors.

Biovet offers a full range of innovative animal health diagnostic services and kits for all species, cutting-edge technology laboratory testing, and water and agri-food testing.
